Dr. Rebecca Cole was the second African American woman to become a medical doctor (MD) in the nation.
Leon is a naturally talented Philadelphia native who began drawing at age 5. After studying at the Philadelphia College of Art, he has amassed a huge body of Afrocentric work which he has exhibited in California, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. A book illustrator and graphic designer Leon still enjoys caricature drawing at social events.
