October Gallery is Celebrating 34 Years in the African American Art Industry and has operated a physical art gallery in Philadelphia, PA since 1985. We are one of the oldest African American art galleries in the nation.

October Gallery does all it can to insure these postings and listings are accurate. Any problem with these postings/listings should be reported to us immediately.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
October Gallery shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if October Gallery has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In the event that a product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, October Gallery reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. October Gallery reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged, or you have otherwise paid for the purchase and your order is cancelled, October Gallery shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount originally billed. We are humans not software robots and we do make errors.
TERM AND TERMINATION
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration, listing or making an offer process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by October Gallery without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.
We reserve the right to eliminate any product or item that we deem offensive and not is good taste. Stores that are inactive for a prolong time, performing in an unacceptable fashion, not processing or full filling orders will be considered for termination by us.
Also, we encourage all customers to pay and communicate through Philly Art Expo. This helps ensure that they are protected from misrepresentations, non fulfillment of orders, cancellations, refund policies and privacy issues. It also makes it easy to find and reference important details concerning their transaction. Philly Art Expo can’t provide these benefits to the customer if their transaction isn’t completed and paid for directly through Philly Art Expo and our PayPal Protection System.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless October Gallery, its officers, directors, staff members, brokers, agents, licensors and suppliers (collectively the “Vendors”) from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the site using your Internet account.
October Gallery may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to October Gallery.
By using our site you are agreeing to all the Terms and Conditions of our site and not limited to the following. Sellers agree to provide all necessary information and documentation to October Gallery and to sell the true and correct item as listed in your listing. Andrew Turner was born in l944 in Chester, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. Andrew’s work has been widely acclaimed, with many solo exhibitions and participation in group exhibitions. Romare Howard Bearden was born on September 2, 1911, to (Richard) Howard and Bessye Bearden in Charlotte, North Carolina, and died in New York City on March 12, 1988, at the age of 76. His life and art are marked by exceptional talent, encompassing a broad range of intellectual and scholarly interests, including music, performing arts, history, literature and world art.
